Artists and engineers have shared a creative process that often requires thinking outside the box. To celebrate engineering week, we will bring these two worlds together to build a spirograph kit that can be used in numerous ways to create captivating designs.
As a group we will watch a large scale Foucault pendulum that swings and traces repetitive patterns into sand. Pattern and design will take center stage with the help of gears and pendulums, gravitational force and rotating machines.
