Fire Departments exist in cities around the world. New Haven’s Fire Department was founded in 1862. In order to be ever ready to fight fires any time of day, firefighters work long hours away from their homes. The fire station becomes a home away from home for these brave members of our community. Build a station and fill it with firefighters, an engine, and an ambulance. Fires can also happen on the water so a fireboat becomes another important tool.
