Whether it’s making ceramics or crafting a s'more, chemistry is everywhere we look. Participate in and run quirky chemistry experiments with everything from gummy bears to potassium. Learn the chemistry behind everyday materials that you take for granted. Treat a dollar bill with 70% isopropyl alcohol and see if it catches fire. Test the art and chemistry of slime, recognizing the properties of Non-Newtonian fluids, and testing what you can do to change the fluidity. Have fun making elephant toothpaste. Celebrate the end of the week by testing the melting point of marshmallows….we will just have to make s’mores!
