Over the course of the week, participants will read, write, and revise poems, letters, and memoirs. They will then reduce, reuse, and recycle old photos, letters, and other papers from their past into handmade paper. Once their words are edited and their pages are dry, participants will combine them into creative, one-of-a-kind artist books. This process gives young writers a chance to explore and experiment with themes from their past to create personalized books that will inspire them now and into the future.
