Most masks count on artistry to speak for the face's expressions. Claymation moves the static features of faces to assemble full rich expressions. In 1972, Peter Lord and David Sproxton formed Ardman Studios which has created characters whose simple features tell Oscar winning stories. Apply the simplicity and patience and stubbornness that made Wallace & Grommet and Shaun the Sheep<.> hilarious to a small animation project. Work with a partner to shape a character, to guide and capture its movements.
