The Erector Set was produced in New Haven from 1913 to 1966. From 1918 to 1958, Erector Sets were at the top of many, many holiday gift lists. Even though no classic Erector Sets have been produced for 50 years, the sets are still a joy to experiment with. Happily, many families have donated their old sets for you to play with.
Get to know the nuts and bolts of the Erector Set. Start with a simple classic project. Construct an updated motor to power your experiments. Then invent a machine that will put Erector parts and your imagination in motion.
Your construction with its antique parts and your motor will be your to take home.
