Dave Lewin is a weekend woodworker with a particular preference for 19th and early 20th century hand tools and associated woodchips and shavings. During the week he’s working with Yale faculty, postdocs and students to turn innovations into business partnerships as Director of Business Development with The Office of Cooperative Research. Dave moved from California to New Haven in 1989 to earn his Ph.D in Cell Biology.
