Masks capture the power of animals.
Since ancient times, people have taken the appearance of animals to possess their powers and mystery. In 2012, Norwegian brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker penned a song The Fox to ask what sound the fox makes. It was a joke. They produced a video with simply masked dancers and an unforgettable beat. The video captured 100 million viewers in 35 days. The power was strong in those masks.
• Cut and assemble a fox mask in felt.
• Choose a cow or mouse or elephant mask to make.
• Add your own favorite animal to the mix.
• Get up and dance to The Fox. It's easier when you wear a mask.
