Spring is coming. The trees and flowers are beginning to bloom. What better time to photograph the landscape around the Museum and learn digital photography? Practice landscape photography. Capture East Rock Park when things are just waking up after a long Winter. Capture the splendor of nature when it is brand new. Use our high-resolution digital cameras to take pictures, then retouch your images with the powerful photo editor Pixelmator. Learn how to tweak your photos for brighter colors and sharper lines. Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will be spending a little time taking photographs in East Rock Park.
You can take your gallery home on a USB drive or CD. You will need an e-mail address (either your own or a parent’s) to share your work online.
We will offer this class on Thursday as well. If you want to do both, you'll be able to add more practice and learning onto Tuesday's skills. Beginners will learn what the Tuesday beginners learned and benefit from anyone coming back with additional ideas.
