Making means mastering many methods.
A brush is but one of the tools a painter uses. We'll look at artists flicking, smearing, sculpting, dripping and rolling paint. Learn the name and purpose of each technique. Then practice each method. Make samples of your work in a grid of 9 refrigerator magnets. finally, paint your own wooden elephant as part of our participation in the Elephant Parade, a world collaboration of artists committed to protecting elephants.
Please note – you will likely paint your clothes a little too. So dress for mess. The paint is water based acrylic, approved for use by chldren.
